Location
The unusual Hotel Cava D 'Oro is located near the Palace of the Knights in the Old City of Rhodes. It is situated on the 2000 year old ruins of the ancient market in an attractive part of the crusador section of the town. The owner, Thanasis Mavrakis, his wife Birgid and their daughters, Dorothea and Alexia bring individual warmth and hospitality, continuing the 2,400 year old history of the city which still is a crossroad between the east and west.
